Kerry Martin is the Founder & CEO of the Foundation for Life, leading a disruptive mission to defeat the $3 Trillion global drag imposed by the reactive mental healthcare status quo.

As a survivor of a life-threatening battle with Bipolar disorder and a graduate of Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, Kerry sits at the rare intersection of clinical reality and systemic policy. She is the architect of the Upstream Mandate—a strategic financial arbitrage that shifts capital from perpetual crisis management to proactive, early-childhood resilience.

Kerry’s leadership is defined by the Lived-Experience Vow. She leads FFL’s proprietary Narrative Engine and the STAY Movement, ensuring every dollar invested is 'Survivor-Vetted.' Her approach is fundamentally de-risked by a 'Hard Veto' power held by those who have walked the path, ensuring that FFL’s PACT/SURE engine remains grounded in high-fidelity human impact.

​With formal training in Agile and Scrum methodologies, Kerry translates emotional power into verifiable results. She tracks FFL’s success through the Force Multiplier Scorecard, aiming for a 1:5 ROI in documented societal cost avoidance.

Prior to FFL, Kerry served on the front lines as a Certified Peer Support Specialist on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. This frontline experience with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) ensures that her global strategy is not just theoretical—it is battle-tested.

A New Zealand native, Kerry holds a Master’s from Harvard and a Bachelor’s from UC San Diego. Her leadership is the 'Command Center' of the STAY Movement, dedicated to building an unshakable Fence of Hope so that for the next generation, choosing life is the only undeniable option.
